Some great reference guides

I have acquired over the past year some guides that are published through the J. Paul Getty museum, which are superb. They are quick reference guides for technical terms, with plenty of pictures to help illustrate what they are talking about. If you ever heard any expert talk about Greek art, and there were terms used that were foreign to you, you can most likely find the terms in these guides.

I cannot recommend these enough. They are even good to just read through, as well as quick reference. If there is an art museum near you with a decent amount of ancient art, these would be great to have on hand.

There are some other "Looking At" guides which are published, and I have gotten a few of these too. They have been great help in teaching AP Art History:
